Why should you join TAMECT?
Members are able to gain hands on experience and patient contact while volunteering alongside TAMU EMS. Additionally, there is an opportunity to learn from a variety of healthcare professionals who come and speak at our meetings. Members are able to volunteer with TAMECT around the BCS area, as well as teach the community first aid skills, stop the bleed, and hands only CPR. As a member in TAMECT, you will be a part of a tight knit community of students with similar interests.

Who can join TAMECT?
If your GPA is above a 2.0, you are welcome to join! No experience is required and many of our members come in with zero medical exposure. All A&M, Blinn, and RELLIS students are welcome to come if they can make it to meetings and events on A&M’s campus.
